Netball splits seven players into seven jobs and then tells most of them which third of the court they are allowed to stand in, which gives a team name more raw material than almost any other court sport.
Bibs come off, jerseys stay on. TeamGear Canada prints netball kit with the cut and the colour your club actually wants — start your design here.
Half of these come from the position bibs and the rules that go with them, and the rest are the kind of thing a social side puts on a shirt when the league table stopped mattering in week three.
Netball Team Name Ideas
Built From the Seven Positions
Netball gives seven players seven jobs and then restricts most of them to a third of the court, which is more raw material than any other court sport hands you. Obstruction, footwork and the three-second rule all turn up here because they are what the umpire actually calls.

Conclusion
A netball name has to fit on a bib-sized panel and survive being read from the far sideline. Short beats clever almost every time.
Once you have picked one, we will put it on a jersey. TeamGear Canada makes custom netball jerseys in our own Canadian factory — no minimum order, free design work, names and numbers included. Start your design here.
